- The Lord of the Rings trilogy - Fellowship is my favourite part; it's probably my favourite section of the book as well.
- The Matrix - The first one is an absolutely fantastic action film with a story that kept my interest throughout (despite most elements of it being done somewhere else previously). The Animatrix was at its best with the beautiful World Record and Matriculated, while the sequels had their moments but were generally disappointing.
- The Killer - Slightly better than Hard-Boiled, methinks!
- X-Men 2 - Now that's how to do a comic adaptation!
- Being John Malkovich
- Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
- Monty Python and the Holy Grail
- Pulp Fiction
- Reservoir Dogs
- The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
- The Blues Brothers
- The Terminator
- Terminator 2: Judgment Day
- From Russia with Love - Easily the best of the James Bond films (and an excellent book, too).
- Yellow Submarine - This was my favourite film as a kid, and it's still great fun, with great music (obviously).
- Goodfellas
- Shaun of the Dead - Not quite as good as Spaced... but then again, not much is!
