The result of the debate was TRANSWIKI AND DELETE
This looks like a Wiktionary entry, and will almost certainly never look like more than a Wiktionary entry. Transwiki? Grutness|hello? 00:14, 12 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Transwiki to Wiktionary. Agreed, this doesn't look like it will be any more than a Wiktionary entry. --Deathphoenix 06:39, 12 Jan 2005 (UTC)

- It is an accurate dictionary definition, but even as someone who knows a lot about them (I live on the edge of the Somerset Levels and part of my job relates to the Somerset Levels Environmentally Sensitive Area), I can't think how it can be expanded to an encyclopedic article. The whole drainaige system could become an article (or a section in the Somerset Levels article), but that would be about more than just rhynes - including field-drains, ditches, rhynes, rivers, Internal Drainage Boards, biodiversity, history, flood management, etc. If such an article/section is ever written then Rhyne can be made a redirect to it. For now I vote to transwiki to wiktionary. Thryduulf 22:36, 12 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Keep - could be made into an interesting and informative article. I expanded it a little beyond the definition stage, but I know little about them. The Steve 07:00, Jan 14, 2005 (UTC)
