Crimson Tide (Glencoe High School) was proposed for deletion. This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion. This page is no longer live. Further comments should be made on the article's talk page rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record. The result of the debate was to delete the article.
This material belongs in Glencoe High School if indeed it belong anywhere. This athletic program is not notable, or if it is the article does not demonstrate this and a quick Google check does not indicate anything notable about it. The present article does not even discuss athletic performance at all; it discusses only the mascot and "icon" (logo), which are certainly not notable. I do not think it is a good idea to set a precedent for inclusion of multiple articles on single non-notable high schools. No redirect is needed as any search by any mechanism that includes both "Crimson Tide" and "Glencoe High School" will locate the Glencoe High School article. I suggest that User:Rockingharder copy the text that he has authored from this article and into Glencoe High School prior to expiration of VfD. (As the author of the text I believe that his insertion of it into Glencoe High School would maintain a valid GFDL history). It may also be prudent for him to copy the combined text into his user page. [[User:Dpbsmith|Dpbsmith (talk)]] 20:33, 10 Nov 2004 (UTC)

- Well, let's give some incentive: Delete. Therefore, if he doesn't do it, the article is gone. If he does, the article is gone and the information has been preserved. Geogre 01:15, 11 Nov 2004 (UTC)
