I am reviewing this (old or very old) FA as part of WP:URFA/2020, an effort to determine whether old featured articles still meet the featured article criteria. This article was last reviewed in 2007 and has not been maintained to standards. There is uncited text throughout, and there is considerable datedness (text that has not apparently been updated for years). There is also considerable reliance on primary sources (Octopus itself).
