What is the intended meaning of this?
- "Foremost among these was the Jacobin Club. While the Assembly met in Versailles, an unnamed group of Breton deputies to propose legislation."
The second sentence is not actually a sentence. Molinari 21:19, 26 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Insert "it was" after the comma (which I just did in the article). -- Jmabel 00:10, Aug 27, 2004 (UTC)
Death of Mirabeau
[edit]This is apparently a legitimate correction on the date of Mirabeau's death. It should be April 2, 1791. It may be wrong somewhere else in Wikipedia, if anyone feels like trying to search it out. -- Jmabel | Talk 19:56, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
When
[edit]The title of the article and a number of places in it are ambiguous:
- the summer of 1790 (article title)
- in the summer and fall of 1790
These can be misinterpreted, as "summer" is a season that occurs at different times of the year in the northern and southern hemispheres and not a single time period. Such poetic usages have no place in an encyclopedia with a worldwide audience. These wordings should be replaced by dates, date ranges, months, month ranges or deleted as appropriate. --B.d.mills 03:48, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
