Why was trhe meaning for winterbourne as a river moved from Winterbourne (river) moved back here and that page deleted? I always thought disambiguation pages were supposed to just direct readers to other pages that might hold the same meaning rather than holddefinitions themselves. Surely this way it would take a lot longer to sort out the disambiguation each and every time it needs doing? -- Graham ☺ | Talk 21:00, 23 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Because Winterbourne is a river, the places are named after it, Winterbourne (river) was an unnecesary extra page. --Steinsky 08:51, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Winterbourne Down, Wiltshire

[edit]

Is there any evidence that Winterbourne Down, Wiltshire actually exists? If so, can someone please create the article? -- The Anome 18:48, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

After a bit of Googling: it's actually a neighborhood in Bristol. -- The Anome 06:34, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
