History - Concorde
[edit]Hi all, I added a brief piece on the development of the concorde. I will be making further edits, and plan to include more modern developments in in atmosphere aircraft. I may add pieces on jumbo and superjumbo aircraft, and the more recent increase in composite materials in aircraft (787,A350,777X).Thovanec (talk) 18:46, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
Boeing 747
[edit]Hi all, I added a section regarding the introduction of the Boeing 747, as it was the first ultra-high capacity aircraft to be introduced into commercial aerospace engineering. I think it is relevant for the history section, as it was the first of its kind, and paved the way for the A380 later down the road.
Thanks! Thovanec (talk) 10:26, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
A380
[edit]Hi all, To relate to my 747 edit, I added a small section about the Airbus A380 and its takeover as the highest capacity commercial airliner. I thought it was relevant due to its more recent production relative to the rest of the history section. Now, the history section shows a much wider range ofdevelopment throughout the aerospace engineering industry over time. Thovanec (talk) 10:46, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
