The name of the ship (Nimrod) probably needs a USS or some such signature. I don't know enough about maritime lingo to make the change myself. —Frecklefoot 15:15 10 Jun 2003 (UTC)

Unlikely to need one, civilian sailing vessels traditionally didn't have a prefix - probably because they were the default, prefixes only needed to identify the atypical (naval, steam-powered, etc), although I've never seen a definitive statement on the true origin of prefixes. Support the 1867 one has 498 views but the 1812 one has 50, PS Nimrod has 24, the 1824 one has 10, the 1821 one has 9, the 1809 one has 7 and the 1810 one has 7[[1]] which probably isn't enough for a PDAB. Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:11, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
