This article really needs to describe how the game is played. What are the high-level rules? What are the positions? What are the strategies? The list of known played games leaves the article incomplete. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:183:201:4251:14D2:5FEA:4DE7:3DAC (talk) 13:05, 30 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In what sense is two-sided football "situationist"? -- Oliver P. 10:18 21 May 2003 (UTC)

It is very situationist :) Sjc 09:47, 12 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Pure Speculation

[edit]

The reference to the Haxey Hood having originally been between three teams is without fact. This author wrote the original text to the Haxey Hood, which I replaced with a more comprehensive text removing several made up "facts" in the process. Having read the rest of the discussion on this author I'm not surprised. I'll remove this reference to the Haxey Hood once I've posted this.

Three sided games

[edit]

I have added a "See also" section with a link to the article on Three-handed_chess, where I have already added a corresponding link back to here. If there are any more notable three sided variations of common two sided games then perhaps they deserve a general article. Ianji (talk) 01:52, 5 February 2010 (UTC).[reply]

I made my own version of this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:OJDriscoll/3_Team_Football

There are too many words in this sentence

[edit]

The game purports to deconstruct the confrontational and bi-polar nature of conventional football as an analogy of class struggle in which the referee stands as a signifier of the state and media apparatus, posturing as a neutral arbitrator in the political process of ongoing class struggle.

The ideas in this sentence are excellent, but . . .

. . . . like those handed out to Big Bill Haywood and Ben Fletcher such "sentences are much too long".Leutha (talk) 16:09, 17 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Kassel 2017

[edit]

Do anybody know where to find more information about the World Cup in Kassel? I'm from this region and really interested in seeing this event.
