[edit]The Iowa Election Market has been active since at least the mid 80's. Yes, it's at least 20 years old and to my knowledge significantly older than any other prediction market out there. However, to put this in context, UK bookies have been in business probably for the past three or four centuries and outcomes of elections probably have been long part of their business. - KarlHallowell 01:33, 29 May 2005 (UTC)
