Talk:Futhark

Please provide feedback on terminology - I study this in another language and translating isn't trivial.
Also, non-Swedish comparisons may be needed, all my data is Swedish.
Specifically, the characters for the special (a) and (e) runes should have a better representation. (they are usually represented with a "reverse-cedill a" and a "e with a dot below" in print)
A way to show the actual runes would be coolness, too
heck, I don't even know if I hijacked "futhark" and turned it into "nordic futhark" in error... please correct if so ;-)

Yes, there's a lot more good information in Runic; but I'm not a sufficient scholar of the subject to do the merge myself. --LDC

Is it the same alphabet as at Runic or are they actually different shapes? I've downloaded a font which makes sense of the Runic page: if I used that font to view the Futhark characters (which seems to work in WordPad) would it be correct? Phil 14:24, Dec 22, 2003 (UTC)
