Should this article be Wikipedia:Wikipedians by number of edits by month instead? -- Ram-Man 22:41, Aug 13, 2003 (UTC)
- I like this page! It gives a clearer view of who is currently active, rather than mixing up people who have been active at different stages of Wikipedia's history. Thanks for making it. So are we getting a new page every month? If so, I expect that Wikipedia:Wikipedians by number of edits by month would be the index page for them, and then the individual monthly pages would be at... oh, I don't know. This is the debate on what to call the pages for the annual presidential elections all over again, and I'm not sure we ever came to a consensus on that... -- Oliver P. 15:36, 16 Aug 2003 (UTC)
- I think I'll just make individual articles each month until someone decides what to do with it. I kind of like the idea of keeping all of the different ones around so we can compare months. -- Ram-Man 16:54, Aug 16, 2003 (UTC)
- Yes, that is easier than having one page, with older months in the page history. So the month must be in the title, Wikipedia:Wikipedians by number of edits in July 2003 is perhaps better, to avoid ambiguity (Wikipedia talk:Wikipedians by number of edits (July 2003) could mean up to). - Patrick 21:08, 22 Sep 2003 (UTC)
