DV → DV (video) – (open to other suggested modifiers, like (format) or (video format)) No primary topic for this digram. Attempting to measure long-term signifiance, searches on Google Books, Scholar, and Search all have very mixed results, including for this video format, distance vector, dating or domestic violence, Diversity Visa, etc. Hameltion (talk | contribs) 20:38, 1 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. Nothing else other than the newspaper is actually titled DV, and this does appear to be the WP:Primary topic for "DV" (pageviews). The other articles mentioned are rarely if ever going to be searched for using "DV", so the hatnote pointing to the dab page is sufficient. Station1 (talk) 22:14, 1 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for bringing up usage, I should've mentioned that. The video format does not seem to have a strong case there. Here (see table at bottom) are some other two-letter topics and disambiguation pages: BP (disambiguation) gets 1.3% the pageviews of BP, pH (disambiguation) gets 1.4% of pH, CD (disambiguation) gets 2.2% of Compact disc, LG (disambiguation) gets 5.8% of LG—and DV (disambiguation) has 17% the views of DV. I agree that 17% (it's 10-12% more recently) is well above average for a dab page, but even so, 17% is an indication that only a minority of readers are not at the article they're seeking, and that the hatnote is working for that minority. Station1 (talk) 06:12, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Weak support Domestic violence has 37,825 views, Diversity Immigrant Visa has 6,482, Diana Vreeland has 6,372 and Delta-v has 5,696 compared with only 4,213[[1]] for this one. Google mainly returns deo volente and domestic violence. Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:00, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

DVCPRO HD L-cassette maximum length

The maximum length for DVCPRO HD L-cassettes has made some confusion for me. While maximum length for DVCPRO L-cassettes is 126 minutes in DVCPRO25, these can record 31.5 minutes of DVCPRO HD video. Otherwise, 32-minute DVCPRO HD L-cassettes could record 128 minutes of DVCPRO25 video? It is the true maximum length of DVCPRO large cassettes or numbering error?
