Rename page

Rename: North Battleford, Saskatchewan → North Battleford
This is the primary use of the term, and possibly the only use. An internet search which excludes the terms "Saskatchewan" and "Canada" finds nearly 65,000 hits, the first dozen pages of which are related to this city. Per WP:CANSTYLE, the city should have the undisambiguated title, which currently points here anyway. Mindmatrix 15:30, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

January 2012 unexplained noises
[edit]Shouldn't be difficult to find better sources for this. This is just an example: [1] If it's notable for inclusion in a BBC documentary, it's probably notable enough for this article. I'm sure I'd never have heard of this place otherwise. I don't think it's ever been fully explained. Not sure if "Climate" is the right section, but not sure where would be better. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:45, 30 December 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for the response. I think it could be included if there was an explanation for the noise.-- Kayoty (talk) 00:45, 31 December 2014 (UTC)
- What a very curious approach. Martinevans123 (talk) 10:53, 31 December 2014 (UTC)
North Battleford Mystery
[edit]Removed the following section called; "North Battleford Mystery".... North Battleford is one of a number of locations where eerie sounds, seemingly coming out of the sky, were heard by inhabitants. They occurred in January 2012. A BBC documentary recorded them and describes them as unearthly sounds reminding of trumpets. Their origin is not known and gave rise to several theories, such as an alien origin.
- New information has shown that these sounds were created by the wind blowing through construction pipes making sounds in the same manner as a pipe organ would. This is not notable. -- Kayoty (talk) 16:37, 10 April 2017 (UTC)
