White Pants
[edit]The Giants have taken to wearing white pants with their blue jersey for up to half of the home games the past two seasons. I know we don't have Johnny Seoul anymore on the uniform database, but can anyone else make a new template to add the white pants as the alternate?
2019-2022 Season Edited
[edit]After the 2019 season, the Giants' longtime quarterback, Eli Manning, retired after spending 16 seasons with the organization, while the team finished the season with a 4–12 record. At the start of the 2020 season, Daniel Jones took over as starting quarterback as the Giants finished 6–10 after a devastating season ending injury to Saquon Barkley in Week 2 against the Chicago Bears seemed to be the theme for the whole team throughout the season, while tight end Evan Engram and cornerback James Bradberry were named to the 2021 Pro Bowl as reserves.
In the 2021 season the Giants brought in former Dallas Cowboys Coach Jason Garrett as the new offensive coordinator for the team but was fired mid-season after a 3-7 start and mediocre production from the offense. The Giants failed to improve on their 2020 record by finishing 4–13. Then after the season, general manager Dave Gettleman retired and head coach Joe Judge was fired. The firing and retiring was expected after Judge went 10-23 in his 2 seasons with the team, and Gettleman had a 19-46 record in the 4 seasons as GM for the Giants. During the season the squad's starting quarterback Daniel Jones sprained his neck and was temporarily replaced in the lineup by Mike Glennon and then Jake Fromm.
The 2022 Season for the Giants looks like the start of a new chapter for the team. The new hiring of head coach Brian Daboll, former offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills, seems to be a nice change in scenery with someone who has seen success on other teams. The Giants are also looking forward to showing off their picks from the recent draft;Kayvon Thibodeaux was selected 5th overall in the 2022 draft, and has been showing great signs of progression in the Giants Training Camp, according to teammate Leornard Williams: "It's just been a few practices so far, but you can still see [Thibodeaux's] attributes, and in the three practices we've had so far he's shown great speed.". Another rookie Evan Neal, who was picked 7th overall, is looking to be a great addition to the struggling offensive line. The Giants are hoping to look like a different team this year, and will definitely look a little sharper with their newly designed throwback jerseys that will be added for just 2 games during the season.

Jeff Hostetler
[edit]How can this name not appear anywhere in the article? Hostetler was the second-string QB for several years before taking over for an injured Phil Simms in the playoffs and Super Bowl. He was the QB who won the Super Bowl that year. 2601:19B:B00:A7C:EA53:3273:E121:46A5 (talk) 03:19, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
