District Attorney said Paul Bern's "Suicide Note" was fake, I doubt he killed himself!
Note signed "Paul" discovered by police after his death suggesting he was impotent but that was not the case. Viewed by authorities as a suicide note but authenticity of the note remains very questionable. District Attorney declared it fake in 1934![1]
On September 5 1932, Bern allegedly committed suicide. He left a "suicide note" suggesting he was impotent but that was not the case as he had lover named Millette whom he supported for a very long time. In 1934, district attorney declared the note was forged. It turned out that it was the work of MGM fixers Howard Strickland and Eddie Mannix et al. On June 16 1959, The Superman Reeves George who also lived in Benedict Canyon died under similar mysterious circumstances.
